Planning on Using Financial Aid? Here’s What To Do
Contact the Student Financial Services Office prior to June 15th to make sure your award is enough to cover your tuition fee and balance.
Log on to your student portal using your @art.edu email address.
Make sure all your FA CHECKLIST items are complete.
Confirm your financial aid money is ready for disbursement.
If you don’t have an @artedu address yet, or have forgotten it, use this link to reset or set up an AAU account and password.
Any balance not covered by your Financial Aid Award has to be paid by June 15 as well. You can pay the difference in full or take advantage of the Academy’s Installment Plan.
Make sure your VA benefit eligibility documentation has already been submitted.
If you are using Chapter 31 Veteran Readiness & Employment or Chapter 33 benefits at the 100% coverage level and the VA is expected to pay all charges in the term, you do not need to take any action at this time.
Make sure you do not have charges that will not be paid by the VA. The VA only pays for tuition and eligible course fees. The VA covers the following fees for required courses: mandatory lab fees, enrollment fee, registration fee, and student activity fee.
If you are using Chapter 33 benefits at less than 100% coverage level, you only need to pay the portion of tuition and eligible fees that will not be paid by the VA, plus any additional fees that are not paid by the VA.
If you are using any other VA benefits, utilize the options outlined below to pay your tuition and fee charges.
NOTE: You are responsible for your Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) fees, which are subject to late charges
