The Associates degree program in Fashion Product Development provides students with entry-level employment skills appropriate for assisting with developing technical designs and production packages, communicating with vendors and suppliers, and assisting technical designers, designers and product developers. AA FASHION PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT DEGREE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum grade of C- in all core courses, major courses, and LA 107 Writing for the Multilingual Artist or LA 108 Composition for the Artist.
  • Minimum 2.0 GPA and the following general education requirements:
    3 Art Historical Awareness courses
    1 Written Communication: Composition course
    1 Written Communication: Critical Thinking course
    1 Employment Communications & Practices course
    1 Fabric & Fiber Literacy course

After above general education requirements are met, take Liberal Arts electives as needed to fulfill the Liberal Arts unit requirement.
