Study art and design at the Academy of Art University Campus in Florence, Italy.
In partnership with SRISA, Academy of Art University is offering the adventure of a lifetime. You’ll be studying and creating art under the guidance of Academy instructors in the birthplace of the Renaissance while exploring the magic of Tuscany.
Students from all Academy schools—as well as non-degree seekers—are welcome. There are no prerequisites for the Study Abroad program. To participate, you must enroll in one of three programs of study offered: Fashion, Fine Art/Illustration, or Photography/Liberal Arts.
Elective credits for your major can be earned by studying in any of the three programs. Liberal arts credits may be earned by studying in the fashion or photography programs. Contact your advisor to discuss your eligibility.

Optional $150 private room fee for Venice trip
Single rooms for the Venice trip may be requested directly through SRISA and cost a one-time flat fee of $150.00. Requests for a single room on the Venice trip must be made by April 15, 2024.
Program enrollees have the option to invite guests to join them on the Venice side trip. The cost is $750 per guest
Housing

You have the option to secure housing independently or directly with SRISA.
Housing booked directly with SRISA is $2,570 per person for a double occupancy room in a shared apartment (from June 25 through August 11)
Requests for shared student housing must be made with SRISA by April 15, 2024. SRISA housing fees are non-refundable after April 15, 2024
A $250 refundable housing deposit is required per student in shared student housing
Health Insurance

All participants in the program must have a health insurance policy that covers them while abroad. This can be a personal policy, one provided by your program, or travel health insurance purchased specifically for the length of your studies in Florence. For more information, click here.

Travel Visas

If you are an international student without a US passport, you will need a visa to travel to Italy. Please meet with your program contact to sign up for an appointment with the consulate.
