The International Sculpture Center (ISC), publisher of Sculpture magazine, has selected Academy of Art University student Jihoon Choi for an Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Award. Choi, an MFA student in the School of Fine Art, is among 22 students worldwide to receive the honor. Recipients will participate in the fall/winter exhibition at the ISC. Works by Choi and the other award winners will appear in the Grounds for Sculpture exhibition from October 2014 to March 2015 in Hamilton, N.J., adjacent to ISC headquarters. More than 151 universities, colleges and art school sculpture programs from six countries nominated a total of 374 students for the competition.
