Rob Cabrera is the Concept Art Lead in the Game Development Department at Academy of Art University. He began his career as a nationally-syndicated newspaper cartoonist with his own comic strip titled SILO ROBERTS distributed by United Media. Shortly after Rob ended his comics, he earned his MFA in Animation and Visual Effects from the Academy of Art in San Francisco, where he animated, produced, and directed a young Bailee Madison in the award-winning animated short MONICA.
Rob established his studio in South Florida and has worked with many brands, people, networks and interactive projects over the years. Rob won his first Emmy Award for animation work commissioned by NBA Basketball/ Fox Sports/Bally Sports/ Miami HEAT.
