The ArtU ASLA Student Affiliate Chapter hosts a Stanford Campus Tour on Oct. 13 from 1pm to 4pm PDT at the Stanford Campus.

The tour will be a small group of students led by one of our LAN instructors, Toni Bava. Toni has designed a few projects on the Stanford Campus herself. Throughout the tour, we will be observing the current landscape with its different spaces and how they correlate with each out and the overall theme of the campus.  We wanted to go to the Stanford Campus not only for its iconic buildings and courtyards, but for its historical value in the Landscape Architecture Field as well. The original designer and master planner of Stanford was Fredrick Law Olmstead, the same designer who created Central Park in New York and is known as the father of modern Landscape Architecture.
